ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Grunver, a company with extensive experience in the environmental consulting sector, has established and implemented an Environmental Management System based on the requirements of ISO 14001:2015.

Our Environmental Policy defines the commitment to carry out our activity within the parameters of sustainable development, maintaining the control and management of the environmental aspects it produces, especially the most significant ones. It also establishes a common framework for the definition of objectives and the implementation of activities that contribute to the continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System.

In order to fulfill these commitments and achieve the established objectives, Grunver has established the following fundamental principles:

  1. Environmental protection and prevention: Protect the environment, prevent pollution and minimise the adverse environmental impacts arising from our consulting activities.
  2. Legal compliance: Strictly comply with the environmental legal requirements applicable to our activities, as well as with any other requirements voluntarily adopted by the organisation.
  3. Awareness and participation: Maintain environmental awareness among all our employees, promoting environmental training and encouraging active participation, including improvement suggestions put forward by employees in order to foster continuous improvement.
  4. Measurement and evaluation: Establish indicators and reporting systems that enable us to objectively assess the environmental impact of our activities. These indicators and systems will be reviewed, according to the degree of achievement, at least once a year.
  5. Continuous improvement: Continuously improve our Environmental Management System in order to achieve real and measurable improvements in our environmental performance.
  6. Transparency and communication: Make environmental information about the company available to interested parties and work together with other companies, public bodies, associations and institutions to protect the environment.

At Grunver, we also believe that the best way to contribute to protecting the planet is to start by reducing the impacts generated by our own activities. For this reason, we have established four objectives to increase our level of sustainability, committing ourselves to protecting and respecting the environment in the course of our day-to-day activities:

  1. Manage resources sustainably:
We use resources responsibly, minimising water, paper and energy consumption; reducing waste generation and emissions; promoting recycling; and seeking eco-efficient solutions. We limit the use of Artificial Intelligence to essential technical consulting tasks and restrict its use for generating images and external communication content, with the aim of minimising our digital carbon footprint and the energy consumption associated with servers.
  2. Green procurement:
Grunver’s office supplies are selected according to green procurement criteria. In this way, we choose products with the lowest environmental impact throughout their life cycle, giving priority to ecodesigned products or products holding a recognised environmental certification.
  3. Promote good environmental practices:
We promote good environmental practices among employees, suppliers and clients.
  4. Offset our emissions:
On an annual basis, we will manage the offsetting of the CO₂ emissions generated by the company’s activities and registered with the Ministry for Ecological Transition.
